Masterlist and reveals!

Thank you all for joining our 2nd round, we had 13 days of amazing fics + some adoptions and we're so happy we got to share it all with you. Here are some notes from the mods!

I'm so unbelievably happy that despite everything that happened earlier this round, everything ended well and we got some amazing fics in return! I'll still like to apologize for the chaos and mistakes that happened through out this round as I had to find new co-mods and things got a little messy there, but thank you all for being so amazing and supporting us regardless of everything. I got two amazing mods who truly helped me a lot this round and I can't thank them enough. I'd like to thank everyone for their hard work and I'm so happy this round ended up being a success. Hello my lovely lights~ mod luz✨ here! Firstly, I’d just like to thank all of you for working hard and writing so many wonderful fics for this round! This fest wouldn’t have been possible without you dedicating the past few months to sharing your stories with us. Secondly, I’d like to thank Mod Star and Mod Moon for working so hard throughout the fest to keep everything organized and running smoothly! Unfortunately I was not able to participate as much as I would’ve liked to this time around, so I’m also very sorry that I couldn’t help out my fellow mods more and interact with all of you more too. Kyungsoo, a human high school student, is fed up of his life and suffering and wants to end it all. He wants absolutely nothing to do with Baekhyun. How will the two affect each others lives?

This is a very emotionally heavy fic. It won't be easy to read.

Summary: Jongin's making his way to America in hopes of a better life, one where he can support himself with his art. Baekhyun is an aristocrat supporting himself on his family's money, making his way to America to be married to someone he's not in love with.

Author's Notes:
I've literally watched the 1997 Titanic once in my lifetime and didn't follow the plot at all. Originally, this was going to be from Jongin/Jack's POV, but I changed it. I think it works better, but I could've done more. This only covers the first three days of the journey, and they're pretty glossed over, because I wanted to make the setting and layout as accurately as possible but kept getting confused.

My laptop died completely while writing this, so I've had to use a borrowed computer in my basement, and I gotta say that writing in a windowless room is tiring. I did my best, and I hope someone gets some enjoyment from it.

Lastly, I have to give credit to any remote facts about the RMS Titanic to Wikipedia.

This fic has more of me than anything else I've ever written before. I've poured my soul into it and I hold it very dear to my heart. While writing this, I've perhaps adopted Junmyeon lmao Idk how it happened but after this, I'm 90% closer to worshipping irl Junmyeon!! As for the Junmyeon I've created in this fic, he's one of the very few characters I've written that I love with all my heart. I hope you'll love both him and this fic as a whole too!

Basking in the Light

Prompt Adoption!

Hello everyone! First of all, thank you so much for such a lovely first round, both mods really enjoyed it a lot and we're so glad to have been so successful and had such wonderful participants this year. We're hoping that sometime in the future we'll be able to have another round!

In the meantime though, we thought it would be a good idea to hold an adoption round. This form is for those that either dropped out and would like to hold onto the prompts they dropped, for those unable to participate in our last round, or for those that would have liked to write a second prompt from the archive, but just didn't have enough time during the round to complete it! This is for all of you ~

As a reminder, if you choose to adopt a prompt, there is no obligation to finish it by a deadline. We just ask that if you're comfortable with it, when you finish the prompt, you let the mods know so that we can tell all of our followers where it will be so that they can read what you've written (and so potentially the prompter can check it out as well!)

If by chance we do have a second round, we will be recycling round one's prompts.
